Founder - Dr. James J. Tong

Dr. Tong, Founder & Chairman of ThorBay Holdings, sets up ThorBay Polo and Stable to support the growth of Polo internationally.  

In addition to his passion for equine sports, Dr. Tong specializes in venture capital investments in innovative technologies. 

Dr. Tong’s education includes a medical degree earned from Peking University and a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience at Stony Brook University and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.  He participated extensively in the field of biological research and discovery, with a focus in neurofibromatosis, learning & memory and longevity.
